Sorry it has been so long since I last updated, but here is a leaked preview of Lady GaGa’s new video for Alejandro!

She has done it again!  She was on American Idol a year ago, and now she will be gracing the Idol stage again.  May 5th to be exact.  How do I know this isn’t one of Ryan Seacrest’s blabs?  Lady GaGa said so herself, on her Twitter.  Can’t wait! Can you?

On 420, Lady GaGa was in Tokyo promoting her MAC Campaign, with a performance of course.  She performed Speechless, Bad Romance, and her newest single, Alejandro.  Which so happens to be #50 on the Hot 100 Billboard chart.  That’s a 22 spot jump since last week, where Alejandro was at #72.  Check out her performance below.  I will post a better video when Youtube decides to update.

Bad Romance is now the most viewed Youtube video of all time, with over 180 million views.  And it was just released in November!  Impressive.  Check out the video here if you have not seen it.

My friend Sam and I were watching the Lady Marmalade video made for the movie Moulin Rouge, with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Pink, and Mya.  She thought of the idea of re-making the song and video with Lady GaGa, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj.  Great idea?  I think so.  Would you like to see a new song and video for Lady Marmalade?  Post a comment with a yay or a nay!

Out of nowhere, I come upon the cover to Christina Aguilera’s newest single, Not Myself Tonight.  I saw the cover, thinking it was Lady GaGa, but come to find out it is Christina Aguilera.  The song, Not Myself Tonight, debuted last night at around 6pm.  I thought, okay, the cover is very GaGa-inspired, but maybe she can do a better job at making the song her own.  Was I wrong!  Don’t get me wrong, her voice is flawless and she has been around a long time, but this girl still cannot find her own niche.  She tried Britney, did well with the whole “dirrty” scene, and now she is croppin’ the style and sound of the latest pop sensation, Lady GaGa.  The song sounds like a mix of Heidi Montag trying to be a popstar, and the lyrics and beats of Lady GaGa.

As I was surfing the world of Facebook, I came across some pictures of a friend of mine.  He has been getting shot dressed as Lady GaGa, and he does a pretty damn good job.  Derrick Barry doesn’t do the job with his Britney attempts, and the GaGa-impersonations are just embarassing.  Check out Edward, a breath of fresh air for Lady GaGa look-a-likes.
